Jurassic World Sequel’s Official Title is Fallen Kingdom

The official title for the new chapter in the Jurassic film series is “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.” The new name was announced on social media by Universal and producer Frank Marshall, exactly one year ahead of its official release date with the tagline, “In one year, life finds a way.” A new teaser poster was also released featuring a cracked Jurassic World logo with burning embers, plus the tagline “Life Finds a Way.” The new film opens in the US June 22, 2018.

From Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was written by Derek Connolly and Colin Trevorrow, with Patrick Crowley, Frank Marshall, and Steven Spielberg producing. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will reprise their roles as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing. Jeff Goldblum will also return (in some capacity) as Ian Malcolm. The release date is currently set for June 22nd, 2018 in the Unites States.
